We offer a FREE programme that is provided where the tauira feels most comfortable.  
Although there is a focus on literacy, numeracy and language, the main aim is to stregthen and expand on YOUR OWN knowledge.  We take what you already know,  work out together what you want to know, and sort out a plan so you can achieve it in the shortest, easiest, and most enjoyable way.  Problem solving, creative thinking and LOTS OF FUN are vital to the success of this programme.

Are you finding areas of your life difficult?  Improving your skills in communication, literacy and numeracy helps and it doesn't have to be hard.  We will make it easier to understand, and allow you to make the most of your abilities. We do this by identifying and addressing barriers which may have been created by previous learning experiences.  
 
Programme Details and Expectations 
 
This is a 10 week programme, where you attend for 10 hours per week.  The content is designed in conjunction with each individual. Changes occur depending on what you feel is most appropriate to your learning needs. 
 
How Does It Work? 
 
Individual needs are identified through formal assessments. These vary depending on the findings at the initial assessment and in regard to preferred individual learning styles.   
 
The programme could include 1:1 tutoring; group situations; teacher or self directed learning.   
 
The programme is totally dependant on the needs of each individual.  It may include spelling and word recognition, phonetics, reading skills, improving communication (through writing, speaking and listening), numeracy skills and moving on to more advanced activities as required. 
 
Problem solving, creative thinking and LOTS OF FUN are also vital to the success of this programme.
